Letter of certification
This letter certifies that an individual or business entity is a licensee in good standing in Oregon. Some state insurance departments require this letter, although licensing information can now be confirmed on the NAIC's Producer Licensing Database.
Visit
www.statebasedsystems.com. Under State Services, choose Oregon. Find the link to Licensee Lookup. Enter the license number. The next screen is your Letter of Certification.
Letter of clearance
Oregon resident licensees transferring to another state need to submit a contact change request at
www.nipr.com. Be advised that upon receipt of the contact change, a clearance letter will be generated and emailed, and the Oregon resident license surrendered. Once the licensee has acquired a resident license in their new domicile state, they can apply for a reciprocal non-resident Oregon license at
www.nipr.com.
No fees
No fees are required for either of these letters.
