In 2023, the Oregon Legislature expanded the board’s mission through Senate Bill 192 to “develop a plan for establishing upper payment limits on drugs sold in this state that are subject to affordability reviews under ORS 646A.694.” The Prescription Drug Affordability Board worked with consultants, Myers and Stauffer LC, on an upper payment limit report. Consultants held 23 community meetings and focus groups April through July and the board hosted question and answer sessions on July 24. The board has been reviewing the draft UPL report and will continue the discussion Nov. 20, before sending the report to the Oregon Legislature in December. This page has UPL board resources, including draft reports, public comment, slideshows, and video recordings. The final report will be posted here in early December.
