Policies and rulemaking

Policies: PDAB approved policies to guide its work when it was first established in June 2022. Each year, the board reviews the policies and amends them, if needed. Most recently, board members voted to amend and approve Policies 1, 2, and 4 on Jan. 15, 2025 and will review an amended Policy 3 on February 19, 2025.

Statutory authority: The board is authorized by Oregon law to puruse its mission. Find links below for applicable Oregon Revised Statutes, along with links to PDAB-related legislation.

Rulemaking: The board may adopt rules in accordance with applicable provisions under ORS Chapter 183. During the rulemaking process the public is encouraged to submit comments to provide feedback by signing up for and attending board meetings and hearings.
