The Insurance Advisory Committee aids Oregon's insurance commissioner by providing feedback, advice, and support around all aspects of insurance regulation. Members actively participate in quarterly meetings and strive to promote a healthy, vibrant, competitive, and innovative insurance market where Oregonians are protected from fraud, misrepresentation, misinformation, and abuse.
The committee consists of fifteen members, with five members from each of three groups: insurance companies, insurance producers and consumer groups. Together, this group provides vital insight, expertise, and advice to the insurance commissioner.
