The following are general descriptions of therapeutic classes used to organize and describe drugs referenced in our reports. The therapeutic class names are from the Medi-Span drug database. Other sources may use different classifications. Medi-Span does not provide definitions and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) information consists of lengthy scientific explanations.
We are providing general descriptions to help readers understand the types of drugs included in the therapeutic classes cited in our reports.
