We want to hear your stories
The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services is asking for the public's help. The department set up a brief survey for consumers to ask questions and share their stories about rising prescription drug prices. Drug prices play a major role in health care decisions of Oregonians and the cost of prescription drugs have steadily increased in the past 10 years. The department wants to know what questions you have about the increase in prescription drugs and how has it affected you and your family.

The Department of Consumer and Business Services held its annual Prescription Drug Price Hearing on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021. Due to COVID-19, the hearing was held virtually. You can watch the hearing below.
The hearing provided time for public comment and covered several topics, including an overview of the Drug Price Transparency Program, results from data collected, and two panels – one on approval of Aduhelm for treatment of Alzheimer's disease and the other on patient assistance programs and co-pay accumulators.
