The 2023 drug price transparency program report is available.
Oregon’s Prescription Drug Price Transparency Program is one of the first in the nation to be fully implemented and has been collecting data for over five years. By analyzing the information received from drug manufacturers, health insurers, and consumers, the program is working to increase the state’s understanding of the factors that influence prescription prices, and how drug prices affect Oregonians.
Each year the program develops an annual report containing background information about the program, results of the data collected, and recommendations for legislative changes to contain the cost of and reduce the effect of prescription drug price increases.
