Escrow rate filings

The escrow writer must first be licensed/registered with the Oregon Real Estate Agency. Then a filing of the Escrow Rate Schedule is made via email with DFR Product Regulation. The PDF can be sent to jan.vitus@dcbs.oregon.gov or carolyn.kalb@dcbs.oregon.gov for processing. The email should be approved before any escrow business happens in Oregon. 

The PDF must show:

  • The name of the escrow company 
  • The effective date of the rate schedule 
  • and what Oregon county/or counties the rate schedule applies to

All rates and fees will be included in the schedule (including any discounts or surcharges).

When filing for a new entity, please include the Oregon Real Estate Agency license number in the email information.
