Senate Bill 692 (2025) establishes a community-based perinatal provider access program aimed at increasing the availability of culturally specific and culturally competent perinatal services. It requires state-regulated health insurance plans that cover pregnancy and childbirth expenses to provide coverage for these services, including minimum visit requirements and reimbursement rates for doula and postpartum doula care.
