Network Adequacy SB 822 RAC

Senate Bill 822 (2025) will extend Oregon’s network adequacy standards to include large group health benefit plans and introduce clear, quantitative standards for measuring geographic access, and appointment wait times. The rulemaking will also define the limited use of telemedicine to satisfy network adequacy, particularly for behavioral health, and improve access protections in low-income ZIP codes and health professional shortage areas.
