Behavioral Health parity

Behavioral Health parity reporting

All insurance companies that offer individual or group health benefit plans in Oregon that provide behavioral health benefits are required to submit a completed NQTL Reporting Form to comply with reporting requirements outlined in OAR 836-053-1420, OAR 836-053-1425, and OAR 836-053-1430.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, insurance companies are not required to submit the quantitative data reporting template. (Refer to ORS 743B.427.) Reporting for nonquantitative treatment limitations (NQTLs) is still required as in previous years.

Reports are due annually by March 1. Completed reports must be submitted through SERFF using the TOI “Annual Required Reports" and the sub-TOI “Behavioral Health Parity."
