In 2021 the Oregon Legislature enacted, Senate Bill 763. This bill provides that a person may not engage in business as a pharmaceutical sales representative in Oregon without obtaining a license from the director of DCBS, unless the pharmaceutical sales representative engages in business for fewer than 15 days during the calendar year.
A Pharmaceutical Sales Representative license is required for those that meet the requirements for this license. Applicants for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative license may complete an online application or renewal at NIPR.com.
