Balance Billing Advisory Committee (HB 2339)

The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) is convening an advisory committee to develop recommendations for the reimbursement of services provided to enrollees by out-of-network providers at in-network health care facilities.

The advisory group shall provide its recommendations to the Director DCBS, and the director shall, no later than December 31, 2017, report to the Legislative Assembly as stipulated by HB 2339.

The Balance Billing Rulemaking Advisory Committee meeting is open to the public. The meeting can be live streamed at: www.oregon.gov/DCBS/Pages/video-hearings.aspx. Limited time is available at the meeting to present comments in person. Whether individuals submit comments in person or not, all individuals who wish to submit public comment are strongly encouraged to do so in writing via email to DFR.Rules@oregon.gov.
