What do these mean?

Better, Average, Below

We collect data from health insurers that shows whether they are providing recommended care at a reasonable cost. We also collect results from satisfaction surveys that measure the experience of members with their health insurer.

  • Better: Scored well above the average for insurance carriers in the study.
  • Average: Scored in the middle among insurance carriers in the study.
  • Below: Scored well below the average for insurance carriers in the study.
