Health benefit plans reports

Insurers offering health benefit plans must submit reports to the Department of Consumer and Business Services containing membership and financial information.

The reports, first required for 2005, are due by April 1 each year. Insurers are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of their reports.

Starting in 2011 reports, student health plans are included under the large group category. Because changes to reporting requirements have been be made over time, comparisons from year to year should be made with caution.
